Project Background

This project is at a major automotive parts manufacturing center in Poland. The facility handles precision transmission assembly and testing. The customer demands high stability, precision, and duty cycle. Traditional cranes had high maintenance costs. They also failed to meet assembly process requirements. The client required a high-spec lifting solution from HSCRANE. It had to meet CE standards. It also had to fit their existing double-girder overhead crane system.

Based on FEM 2M/3M requirements, we selected the FEM standard wire rope electric hoist. This series features a modular design. It offers low headroom, high efficiency, and easy maintenance.

Technical Advantages

Compact Structure and Low Headroom: The hoist uses a “C” layout. The drive, gearbox, and drum are parallel. This design reduces bridge space. It creates a smaller hook path. This increases vertical space efficiency. The Poland client gained 500mm of effective lifting height.

High-Frequency Operation (FEM 3M): 5-ton loads require high-frequency handling. The FEM 3M hoist offers a 60% duty cycle (ED). It supports 300 starts per hour. The motor features thermal protection to prevent overheating in continuous operation.

VFD for Precision Positioning: We configured VFD systems for all units. Lifting and travel mechanisms support soft start/stop. This enables millimeter-level positioning for assembly. It eliminates “swing” during operation. It reduces dynamic loads and protects assembly molds.

Modular Maintenance: The hoist design is fully modular. The brake, gearbox, drum, and motor are independent. Brake replacement requires no drum or gearbox disassembly. It includes automatic gap compensation. This lowers maintenance time for overseas clients.

Export Compliance and Delivery

We strictly follow CE certification standards for EU exports:

Electrical Compliance: Systems use Schneider or Siemens components. This ensures compatibility with the Polish power grid. All lines include emergency stops and overload protection. It meets the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

Packaging and Logistics: We use vacuum moisture-proof packaging for sea transport. Metal surfaces feature anti-rust oil and protective film. Control boxes contain desiccants to resist high humidity.

Technical Documentation: We provide English manuals. Deliverables include maintenance videos, a BOM list, and the CE Declaration of Conformity. This allows local engineers to complete installation independently.

Performance Results

The project has run for over 12 months with zero failures. Monthly maintenance reports from the Polish client confirm high performance.
