In September 2025, HSCRANE successfully completed the production and testing of 10-ton and 25-ton crane hooks. The hooks were shipped to a Vietnamese client for on-site installation. They will be used on bridge and gantry cranes for heavy-duty lifting operations. The successful delivery demonstrates HSCRANE’s advanced craftsmanship in crane component manufacturing. It also strengthens the company’s brand influence across Southeast Asia.
Project Background
Vietnam’s growing manufacturing and port logistics sectors demand high-performance lifting equipment. The client is a comprehensive enterprise integrating machinery manufacturing, steel structure processing, and equipment installation. Their production lines operate under high temperature, humidity, and frequent lifting conditions. To ensure operational safety and continuity, the client planned to upgrade existing crane systems. They sought high-strength and long-lifespan hooks from global suppliers. After multiple technical evaluations and performance tests, HSCRANE was selected for its reliable standards and export service.
Customer Requirements and Design Challenges
The hooks needed to fit 10T and 25T cranes with precise compatibility. They had to meet load rating requirements and match existing connection dimensions. Vietnam’s tropical climate posed challenges of humidity and corrosion. Thus, the hooks required strong anti-corrosion and surface protection performance. They also needed long-term stability under high-frequency operations. HSCRANE engineers optimized stress distribution, force curves, and safety factors during design.
Product Design and Manufacturing Highlights
- HSCRANE hooks are made of forged alloy steel, quenched and tempered for high tensile and fatigue strength. The 10-ton and 25-ton hooks are designed to FEM and ISO standards with a safety factor above 5.
- Structurally, the hook includes an anti-release latch and reinforced neck to prevent accidental slipping. The inner surface is precisely ground and polished for uniform stress and reduced local fatigue damage.
- For surface protection, electrophoretic coating plus anti-salt-spray paint ensures long-term corrosion resistance. The hooks operate reliably even in humid coastal environments, greatly extending service life.
- Each hook is tested with magnetic particle and ultrasonic inspection to ensure no internal cracks or pores. HSCRANE provides full traceability with material reports, heat-treatment curves, and inspection records.
Packaging and Transportation
To ensure export safety, HSCRANE uses moisture-proof sealing and reinforced wooden boxes for packaging. Each hook is coated with rust-preventive oil and cushioned at key stress points against vibration damage. The equipment is shipped by sea to Ho Chi Minh Port, Vietnam, tracked by HSCRANE’s international logistics team. The hooks will be installed in new crane systems with remote commissioning support from HSCRANE engineers.
Customer Feedback and Project Results
After delivery, the customer praised the machining quality, surface finish, and protective packaging. On-site testing confirmed smooth operation, flexible rotation, and reliable locking of the hooks. Performance data show lower wear rates under continuous high-frequency use compared with imported products. This result verifies HSCRANE’s superior reliability and durability in demanding lifting conditions.
The client plans further cooperation with HSCRANE, purchasing more lifting tools and crane accessories. These will support the expansion of their new production line and enhance overall efficiency.
HSCRANE remains committed to providing safer, smarter, and more reliable lifting solutions worldwide. Our goal is to help customers upgrade equipment and improve productivity across all industries.
